Self Drive Rental
Car Insurance:
Insurance coverage is included with all vehicle rentals, in accordance with the following terms:
- The insurance only covers the rented vehicle and does not extend to third-party damages.
- In the event of damage to the rental vehicle, the customer is responsible for a maximum payment of IDR 15,000,000.
- Any repair costs exceeding IDR 15,000,000 will be covered by the insurance provider.
- The insurance does not cover third-party damages, personal injuries, or damages resulting from reckless driving, negligence, or violations of rental agreements.
- Customers must report any damage immediately to the rental company.
- Failure to report damage in a timely manner may result in additional charges.
Car Rate:
- The rental rate is inclusive of all applicable taxes.
- The rental includes unlimited mileage (Bali Area Only)
- Once the rental price is agreed upon and confirmed, it is final. No further price negotiations will be entertained on the day of vehicle pickup.
Vehicle Use:
- Only individuals named in the rental agreement are permitted to drive the Vehicle.
- Drivers must hold a valid driver's license recognized in Indonesia or International license.
- The Vehicle must not be used for illegal activities, racing, towing, or any purpose not specified in the rental agreement.
Additional Charges:
- Late returns will incur additional charges as specified in the rental agreement.
- Fees may apply for additional drivers not included in the original agreement.
Fuel Policy
- Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned in the level.
- A refueling charge will apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.
Rental Period & Extensions
- Rental charges are typically calculated on a 24-hour basis. If the Vehicle is returned later than the agreed time, additional charges may apply.
- Extensions must be requested at least one day before the rental period ends and are subject to availability.
Cancellations and Refunds
- 50% refunds will be provided for cancellations made after the rental start date.
Delivery and Pick-Up Services
Delivery and pick-up services in Airport, Kuta, Sanur, Denpasar, and Canggu are free of charge.
- Ubud, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu:
- Delivery only: IDR 100,000.
- Delivery and pick-up: IDR 150,000.
- Padang Bai:
- Delivery only: IDR 200,000.
- Delivery and pick-up: IDR 350,000.
- Amed:
- Delivery only: IDR 500,000.
- Delivery and pick-up: IDR 800,000.

Rentals with Driver
For non-natives who are first-time self-driving in Bali, numerous challenges can arise. Despite having a driving license, it's essential to know the routes and road conditions

Our drivers are selected, trained, and have extensive knowledge of Bali's roads and routes. They are English-speaking and can provide free travel guides, describing places and tourist destinations in Bali
You won't have to worry about getting lost or stressed on the road; instead, you can relax and enjoy your vacation
Additional Costs:
- Ticket Attraction and Parking: The cost of ticket attractions and parking fees is the renter's responsibility
- Driver Fee: IDR 200,000 maximum for 12 hours.
- Driver Overnight: If you are staying in different locations such as Madewi, Jatiluwih, Pemuteran, Munduk, Lovina, Amed, Tulamben, Candidasa, Sidemen, there will be an extra cost of IDR 300,000 per night for the driver's accommodation, including food and beverage
Driver Overnight Policy:
- If your hotel/accommodation is close to our Denpasar base (e.g., Kuta, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Sanur, or Ubud), there is no additional accommodation cost for the driver
- For locations farther away, an extra cost of IDR 300,000 per night applies for the driver's accommodation
Liability
Milky Way Bali Car Rental is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle during the rental period.
The renter is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is locked and secured when not in use
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of Bali
